Red Maple holds bi-annual tryouts for all Rep squads — U7 through U12 — open to all eligible players. Every family receives clear placement communication. Where a player is not placed, we provide individual written feedback.

A structured on-pitch session run by our licensed coaches: technical drills, small-sided games, and position-specific exercises.
Families hear back within one week. Players offered a spot receive fee and schedule details; others receive individual written feedback.

Age-appropriate speed, endurance, and coordination — assessed relative to normal developmental variation.
Positioning, decision-making, and ability to read play. Evaluated through small-sided games.
Response to coaching, communication with teammates, and composure when things don't go as planned.
